Easter is an American post punk rock band formed in the early 1980s in Los Angeles, California and were quickly signed to the Capital Records distributed label Chameleon Records. The band has been constant with it's three core members  Danny Dean (guitar vocals), Chad Carrier (bass, vocals), and Korky Ollerton (drums, vocals).

Other former members include Mike Ness (Social Distortion), Brent Liles (Social Distortion / Agent Orange), Jerry Davidson ( Slickfaster),  Michael Ubaldini, and Chris Wakula.  Eminent at the golden age of MTV, the band were easily recognizable by their motorcycles and black leather jackets, the way they were pictured in their MTV video hits Lights Out and Manhattan Boy.

Easter achieved commercial success with several music videos and enjoyed nationwide radio rotation including heavy airplay on 91X (Los Angeles) and a number one requested song in heavy rotation on the World Famous KROQ, also in Los Angeles.

Blazing guitars, back beats and catchy, riffing rock 'n' roll made the California sound of Easter a force to be reckoned with. They toured steadily for seven years on both coasts. Between their own headlining shows, the band toured in support of Concrete Blonde and played shows with The Specials, LA Guns, Wall of Voodoo,The Untouchables, Dramarama and The Sparks, to name just a few. You can still catch them once and a while at their reunion shows.
